Discuss these with your family and team and see where there is alignment and where there are differences.

Develop a list of shared overall business values and add these to your business plan (Tool 1.3 in MMFS Module 1 Plan for Success).

This is developed by chatting to your team and family about your:

favourite stories, sayings or phrases that capture how you operate.
symbols, brand and reputation with employees, customers and the community.
organisation structure (both informal and formal).
rituals or routines that you undertake in the business.
business controls and systems; are these tight, loose or a blend.

Key here is to engage with your family and team. Listen to them, understand what they are telling you and develop this statement collaboratively.
